A Homegrown Love Story
This Virginia Engagement session was so special to me! Sometimes, I get really lucky to shoot the wedding of someone I’ve known for a really long time.
The reason this Virginia engagement session is so special is because Hannah is my childhood best friend’s little sister. Hannah and my brother are the exact same age, so basically the four of us grew up together! We got into all sorts of fun and mischief together. We had tons of sleepovers, family camping trips, horse riding, and shenanigans that involved Hannah and Will terrorizing me and Heather. haha I wouldn’t trade it for the world!
So now to see Hannah all grown up into a beautiful young lady and in love with this tall, handsome cowboy, kinda gets me all chocked up. I CANNOT wait for you to see their wedding once it goes live on the blog!
Now back to their engagement session. Mike and I and the kiddos road tripped up to Lynchburg on a cold weekend in January earlier this year and got to meet up with Hannah and Zach on the cattle farm where they have worked. Hannah is a real farm girl and she’s right at home with horses and cattle…just like she was as a little kid. The sunset was incredible that night and it felt like the most romantic winter engagement session! We got to drive around on the Polaris and explore around the farm till our hands were froze and the sun was gone but it was 100% worth it!
So here we go!
