When your baby cousin is getting ready to graduate high school, you know time has flown by!
Ever since Lydia was born she was my little sidekick. I guess I probably felt like she was my personal baby doll whenever my aunt and uncle came to visit! Since she’s 11 years younger than me it was fitting. So now to see how she’s grown to be such a beautiful young lady, I’m not really ready for it! But now she’s adored by my own kiddos—especially Ellie—and it’s so sweet to see!
Lydia, I’m proud to see the young woman you’ve become. You are so gorgeous and you have so much potential. God has great plans in store for you and I can’t wait to watch as He continues writing your story. I love you so much!
P.S.- Be sure to see if you can find Ellie. She begged for her very own floral crown and just had to crash the party! ha! She was in heaven prancing around barefoot in a field in a dress and floral crown!

The McIntyres are one of the sweetest, hardest working families I know!
They run a dairy farm nestled into the mountains of southwest Virginia and just this past month they became road owners of their beautiful farm! I couldn’t be more excited for them!!
I spent the afternoon with them capturing life on their farm milking cows and collecting eggs and just exploring!
Every year I get the privilege to photograph this family and it just gets sweeter and more fun each time! We hung out in the cornfield, checked out the corn to see how ready it was to harvest, then we headed down to the river! The kids fished and skipped rocks and we even roasted marshmallows till the sun was long gone.
I have known this family for somewhere around 14 years. They were one of the very first families I ever photographed way back in 2011 when I was fundraising to move to Peru. (Let’s just say I am SO thankful they gave me another shot because #neverstoplearning haha)
