A Homegrown Love Story

The McIntyres are one of the sweetest, hardest working families I know!

They run a dairy farm nestled into the mountains of southwest Virginia and just this past month they became owners of their beautiful farm! I couldn’t be more excited for them!!

Mike and I became herdshare members at Goshen Homestead almost 4 years ago and we love getting fresh milk from them each week. Over the years we have spent many hours talking on the porch about farming and family life and I’m so glad to call them friends!

I loved getting to go out to their beautiful farm and document what a day in the life of dairy farmers looks like. Each of the kids help around the farm and they all take responsibility for the different tasks involved with milking every day, twice a day.
